Chapter 226.

Project team

At Annerieke's invitation, Sjaak and Lisa brought the new guests to the guesthouse kitchen for lunch. They had had a late breakfast and were not very hungry yet, but enjoyed being with the family.

Alexander felt for a moment like a stranger, but was fully included in the circle. Memories were recalled, there was laughter and tears flowed.

Johan told, that the trial had not only been reported in the newspapers and on the internet, but that it had even been on the news. He had received reactions from colleagues, both known and unknown, from close by and from abroad, asking how all this could have happened in this way, how he could have stepped out of line. He kept his answer simple: "Because I started living from my heart again, started following my intuition. And I don't regret that for a second!"

Johan went on to say, " Many judges and lawyers have difficulty with it, think it can't be done like this. But it was special to read and hear that there also appeared to be judges and lawyers who have a desire to do their work like this. I have noticed for some time that things are changing worldwide, that people are healing from within, but that it would be so strong, I had not yet expected."

"Do you know the phenomenon that your soul radiates power and light through the healed parts of your soul?" asked Huib.

Since not everyone nodded, he explained briefly: "What you are healed in, at those points your soul will be able to radiate power and light to people with similar problems. Johan had gotten walls around his heart because of court rules and status, but those walls have been shattered, and that is part of emotional healing. Now that he has healed from that, his soul radiates power and light to other people who are walking around with similar walls. I think judges and lawyers walk around with such walls almost by default. And together, Johan and Ellen, you walked in that court case radiating tremendously to all those colleagues of yours. I felt how much power you radiated, through your words, through your attitude, just through who you are. That is how those five suspects were able to break through. In addition, we were there as family and friends.

All these things contribute to this. People in the room, journalists and photographers, they all saw, heard and felt it, were touched by power and light. And all those millions of people who have seen and heard it through the media, they have also experienced it. So you have caused a best earthquake in the judicial world!"

Ellen responded happily, "It's crazy, hard to imagine how that works, but I have felt it and now that you are explaining it this way, I experience that it is true. Your explanation confirms what I have felt."

Johan and Marieke also nodded, having experienced it the same way as Ellen.

Alexander looked thoughtfully: "I wasn't there, and it feels very strange what I'm about to say, as if I have too much imagination, but during the trial and the verdict I thought a lot about all of you, and I felt something like power going out from me to you there, as if I was there myself and participated. But is that even possible? I mean, because I wasn't there."

"It's not just possible, it just happened that way," Ellen confirmed her husband's impression. "I felt that you were there, not corporeally, but still, you were there. When I questioned the suspects, I experienced your presence, your power, your light. I should have told you that right away, too bad I didn't think of that. But really, what you felt was concrete, it just happened that way. And you helped me with that."

"Special, never heard of it before," Alexander muttered.

Ellen came up with a special piece of news: "I have received a request from a woman who has been in a similar situation to Lisa for years. She has asked me if she can file a lawsuit with our court, and specifically with Johan, and if I would like to defend her. I consulted with Johan and we decided to fight for her. Through that consultation we discovered, that we both had the desire to go on, helping women in this kind of misery. Marieke decided to make her security guards available for this purpose if necessary. We are entering into a kind of partnership, not an official one, just based on mutual agreement. That is enough for us, because it is our heart's desire."

Lisa had tears in her eyes as she responded, "How beautiful, what a breakthrough! And something that goes along with that is our shelter. Simon has drawn up a sketch for a group of houses here at the back of the estate, to accommodate such women."

Simon stood up: "I'll get the sketch!"

Lisa looked at him smiling, "It's going to be a great project. Not all the women who come to you will need that kind of shelter, but aside from that, I'd actually like to be involved in this kind of your lawsuits."

Sjaak nodded, "I think that desire is new to you, but it clicks with me. It would be nice if we could be present at those particular court cases for women with the same difficulties as Lisa had. Just to support them, and to let that strength flow to the victims, to the defendants, the other attendees. This feels like a project that needs all the commitment!"

Johan beamed, "It feels good, very good. We desperately need this teamwork. I suspect that we are going deeper and deeper into a cesspool. Those suspects in your case, Lisa, were already not simple men, but I suspect that eventually we will end up in higher and higher circles. The stories that circulate about politicians, royal houses and billionaires won't just fall out of the sky, will they? I have no idea what is true, but it would not surprise me if we eventually end up in those regions. So yes, we can use all the power we can get from both of you!"

Cheerfully Simon came back into the kitchen and put the sketch on the table. "You tell Lisa, how it's put together."

As Johan, Marieke, Ellen and Alexander bent over the drawing, Lisa pointed and told what it all would be. They all agreed, that it looked beautiful, that it would be a perfect place for such care.

Alexander explained his desire: "I'm an auctioneer by trade, so if there are any women coming who I can help with that, just call me. And I'd also like to help them move, if necessary. Just some hand-holding services. If there's anything, anything I can do... I feel like I belong on your team, but still have to find a little way how I can give hands and feet to it."

Ellen gave him a hug, "First of all, that power from your sweet soul is very important for this project. And for those practical things we know how to find you! I, at least..." she grinned.

"I wonder how many years we will need this complex for this purpose," said Johan thoughtfully. "As I mentioned earlier, I get a lot of signals of change from people. People feel that they are going through emotional pain and that it is having an effect, that it is giving them space, that they are changing. Sometimes I even hear or read that they describe that they are going to discover who they really are and that is very surprising. Some people quit their jobs, find that their work doesn't fit them at all, and look for something that does. It happens in prisons too, and we saw it with your defendants too, Lisa, they all got released from their inner prison and that's a great start to their healing. I wonder how long it will be before criminals who have not yet been convicted will quit their rotten job themselves."

"Do you think it's going to stop altogether? Crime and all that?" asked Lisa in surprise.

Johan nodded thoughtfully, "I can't prove it, but it feels that way. Somehow the darkness that has always guided people, no longer seems to have a hold on us, no longer exists or anything. There is only a lot of misery left in the people themselves, and that is now slowly healing. That's a wave motion that goes up and down all over the world, and there are more and more reports that people are healing emotionally and coming unstuck from their convictions. If you're on social media, try following it for a while, the posts. You will see and feel that there is something going on. And yes, that's why I wonder, when we will find out, to our amazement, that we no longer need this wonderful shelter complex that you are going to build."

Lisa shrugged, "That would only be nice. Then we could always rent it out to other people or turn it into a second guesthouse or Bed & Breakfast. I do feel that it stirs up a desire in me. I know from that short experience of living with Sjaak, what emotional healing does to a broken person. I am not completely healed yet, not at all, but I am doing better and better. I can enjoy life almost every day, and that is really new to me!"

Simon looked at her lovingly: "You are a beautiful woman, Lisa, also inside, and that is coming out more and more. And as for the shelter... As soon as my men are done with your houses, they can get started on this shelter. You've already signed the offer, and that's why I've already started arranging the foundation. They're already coming on Wednesday to lay the foundation, Lisa, it's already going to take shape next week!"

Ellen looked at him with a puzzled face: "Do you have a building permit already too then?"

"Yes, it all happened very quickly. It's an advantage that I manage and do it all myself, from start to finish. That's why I already have good connections at the town hall, and that saves a lot. When they heard what purpose Lisa wanted to serve in building this house, they were very enthusiastic. They gave permission almost immediately. So everything is arranged, we can start right away. The extension to the house of Huib and Margreet is making good progress. The three builders who are working on it are very eager to get started on the shelter afterwards."

For a moment he looked at Lisa: "They do understand now, thanks to the newspapers, what has been going on. Their reactions have been extraordinary, they are proud of you and would really like to build for you.

You know, builders are often rough men, especially rough in their language, but they too are in a process whereby they show more and more their hearts. I have never had a problem with that roughness, they are allowed to be rough to me. But often it came from wounded souls. Lately, especially since they started working here, I see them changing, their rough language is still there, but like yesterday, when I told them about the shelter, I experienced their strength in that, in their rough words. They go for it, are fervent in a rough way. What Johan said, that it goes around the world like a wave, I also see this happening to my men, especially since they have been working here. But yes, a lot of power and light is radiated here as well."

Marieke shot up in laughter and exclaimed what came to her mind, "Dangerous zone, high radiation!"
