"Pfff, what an intense goodbye that was this morning, intense in the good sense. A lot has happened in the last two weeks!" Huib rooted his hand through his hair.
"I have good news myself, by the way, Margreet already knows, but otherwise I hadn't told anyone yet. I went to the Chamber of Commerce yesterday, because they already had the registration papers ready. It wasn't much, just a quick read, a quick signature and good luck. But it does feel important, an important step towards my own business. Oh yeah, on the spot we gave the company a name: 'Huibs Woodworking'. I showed the employee some photos. She loved it and copied the link of the website into her mobile phone, because she suspected that she would like to place an order soon. She was longing for other cabinets in her home, and she is going to consider having me make them. I'm about to go over the website and then announce it on our Facebook and Twitter channels. Guys, it's official!"
The others reacted enthusiastically, happy for Huib that he could now officially start what really had his heart.
Annerieke put her arm around his shoulders and pulled him close for a moment. "I'm happy for you boy, and I'm proud of you. You've found your path, chosen it, and are happily going about it. I'm confident it's going to be a success!"
And to the others, "I'm going back to work, dear ones! We won't be getting any new guests today, and that's actually quite nice, a little rest after all the changes and deep things with the guests over the past few weeks."
Janny nodded, "You're allowed a little vacation time yourself!"
"So it is!" Smiling, Annerieke turned and walked towards the kitchen to start baking the daily cake.
