The next morning, Johan and Marieke needed a shower and an extra mug of coffee to wake up properly.

Marieke looked at her soulmate intensely in love: "What a change in our lives, as if we threw the book of our old life aside and grabbed a new book. Yes, a new book, unwritten except for the first chapter. I hope it will be a very thick book, full of wonderful adventures of us together."

Johan looked at her happily: "I was just thinking something similar, a totally new chapter. I feel like I'm just starting to really live now!"

"Exactly! I was thinking before I fell asleep, you've suddenly broken through completely. Through your own walls. I knew you were amazing, but that you had so much passion, I didn’t know! It's like your heart was all on fire at once."

"It was...unbelievable!"

Marieke grabbed his hands, "Let your heart be so open, Johan, even at work. Let yourself go, let your inner self flow, flow like a swirling river."

Johan smiled, he saw it all before him. "I don't think I can lock up again. Those walls are really all shattered. It feels bizarre, wonderfully bizarre. Like a flower bud suddenly shot open by the sun. You are my sun, you have managed to make me live again, live fully!" He kissed her hands.

Marieke beamed, "This, something so small, you kissing my hands. It's so simple, but it touches me deep inside. I feel valuable because of you. And also valuable to you..."

Johan put his hands along her face, stood up and kissed her. "You don't know half yet how valuable you are to me. But we'll hopefully have years for that, to discover and enjoy that in each other."

He looked at his watch for a moment, "Too bad sweet Butterfly, but I really have to go. After work, I'll quickly pack up some things. The move can begin!"

He pulled his coat on loosely and hugged his sweet Butterfly once more. "What time do you want dinner tonight?"

"As soon as you get here. No need to hurry yourself, we still have lasagna, I'll just put it in the oven as soon as you get in, and we'll be able to eat soon enough. Have a great day, honey!"

"You too!" And with a final kiss and an arm wave, Johan left for work.
